Last week, an interesting, highlighted, exceptionally large transaction appeared on the blockchain explorer. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the Czech investor Dexter Investment Group executed the largest domain purchase in history when it acquired the “I am rich” web domains from an unknown seller for an almost seven-figure amount in euros. This is the highest price ever paid for domains in Central Europe. Until now, the record was held by the domain dovolena.cz, which sold in 2010 for 400,000 euros.
Dexter Investment Group has more than doubled that record. The domains have enormous investment potential in the luxury goods market in the United Arab Emirates.
